Cannot find anything that proves either it supports DVD movies or not. Does it support Blu-Ray only? Can you clarify?

Yes, the software supports the DVD playing. Actually, it supports playing a wide range of video files, including MP4, MPG, M4V, TS, MTS, MXF, RM, RMVB, WMV, ASF, MKV, AVI, 3GP, F4V, FLV, and VOB. Simply press Open, then navigate to the DVD drive, and choose the VOB files. They should be opened. I have installed it and it also supports opening TS files. TS is the default format for DVDs. If you can't use DVD option, use Open File and manually choose the TS files.
